Naked 2 dupe?

Naked 2 dupe?

Hey everyone welcome to todays post where i'm going to see if a £4 palette is actually a dupe for a £38 one. So if you enjoy then be sure to follow me and share this post. I hope this helps as you can see if you will be able to save £34!!
So the palettes are the Naked 2 and the Makeup Revolution Redemption Iconic 2. So to start of the packing definitely aren't dupes, i would say that the W7 'In the Buff palette" is a packaging dupe. These two are just completely different on packaging though especially as the Naked is bigger and you can't see the shadows.
Naked 2 palette- £38- Debenhams-

Here is what the high end palette is, it's very expensive and the shadows inside are smaller. It does come with with a proper brush though so thats more useful. It has a range of shadows in it and they are very pigmented.
Makeup Revolution Redemption Iconic 2 palette- £4- Superdrug-

Here is what the drugstore palette is, it's very inexspensive and the shadows inside are bigger. The brush inside is more of a sponge than a brush. So i don't really use them that much. It also has a range of shadows but they are slightly less pigmented.

Now, what do i think of both the products? Are they dupes? Are they similar? Well the way i put them made the shadows look really odd. However if look carefully you can see how they do slightly match, i definitely feel like the shade colours are dupes but again the inside aren't dupes. Also the pigmentation of the palettes have a difference. But, all in all i actually feel like this is a dupe, they look they could be the same and they create very similar looks.

I really hope you enjoyed this short post, i don't think that this is the best one i've ever done but i tried. Be sure to follow my blog and twitter for regular updates. Thats all from me, Byeee

Testing T- zone spot cream

Testing T-zone spot cream.

Hey guys its Holly and welcome. Today i'm going to be testing out another product and today i have chosen a spot cream. This is so cheap, 99p from B&M!! I would just like to point out that this may work differently on your skin as we all have different skin types. Please be sure to follow me here, the button isn't far away and also on my twitter. I'm following those back that follow me on both. So once you've done, tweet me saying "followed".
T zone spot zapping gel- 99p- B&M-

So this is what the outer packaging looks like, it's very bright and eye-catching. The product itself is sat inside that box that's poking up. It tells you what it does and how to use it on the back and sides of the box.

When you take out the product you get a surprisingly small tube. It doesn't matter too much to me though as i think it's so cheap it's what you'd expect. Just in case you was wondering though it is smaller that the box itself. However though, it is the same size as the picture of it so i should've known.
When i first put it on it tingled and its smell isn't very appealing. It felt very cooling and like it could do something. After a few hours it had dried but it was a bit sticky. It started to rub of a bit too so i did it again. Then in the morning my spots had gone down but it was just a bit red still. I tried it again and i actually think it works! My spots have calmed down!

So do i recommend it? Yes. It helped me. It's not badly priced either and even though it's a small tube i feel like theirs a decent amount of product in their. Out of 10 i give it a 7.

I really hope you guys enjoyed todays post, i guess i'm loving these testing out posts. Again please do follow me on here and twitter. My twitter is just "LIFEOFHOLLYXO1" but obviously minus all of the capitals. Feel free to leave me any comments. BYEE

Makeup Revolution Redemption Palette Iconic 2 review

Makeup Revolution palette review

Hey everyone welcome to todays post where i'm going to be reviewing a palette. This palette is so inexpensive, £4!!! You can purchase this at Superdrug and i love these palettes so much. Don't forget to follow me and share this post. Follow my twitter too, i'm following some of you back on there so go follow. It's "Lifeofhollyxo1"
I love these palettes because of the price and their actually meant to be a dupe for the naked palettes. I also love the quality and the pigmentation of the palettes aren't too bad. So what do i think of this one?

I like how the outer packaging is very slick and the colours are very minimalistic. The way that they show the full shadows is great because you can see how much product your getting. The palette comes with 12 wearable shadows ranging from light, natural daytime shadows to dark, Smokier nighttime shadows. There are plenty of mattes, shimmers and more glittery shadows in the palette so you can pick and choose as you like.
As i base i applied the 5th one in going from right to left. It became more pigmented as i added more shadow so these are definitely buildable. I feel like because it's buildable it's so perfect for a base and you can make it perfect for a daytime look or a nighttime look. Then after i used one of the really glittery shades and i loved it, it's so sparkly and pigmented i think it's insane. It wasn't as dark i thought it would be but it was still very nice. Then finally, i used one of the shimmery ones and it wasn't super pigmented but it was very pretty. I felt like on top of the base it did look a little lost though.

So what did i think? Well i give it a nine out of ten as i love the price and the packaging, you get alot of product in here and this will last me forever. The only downfall is that it's not the most pigmented palette out there but for £4 you cannot complain. I would use this palette for daytime more as the pigmentation of the lighter shadows are very light. However i did swatch the black shade and that is extremely black so you have very light light shadows and very dark dark shadows, which is understandable. In conclusion i do recommend this palette and hope you enjoyed. Please follow my blog and twitter and i will speak to you next time. Byye

In shower products

In shower products

Hey guys it's Holly and today i'm going to show you the products i use in the shower. Majority of which is soap and glory because their amazing. So be sure to follow me here and on my twitter. Don't forget to share this post and lets get started.
S&G shower gel- £6.50- Boots-

I've mentioned this product so much on my blog so i won't ramble and i'm nearly at the end of it. I just use this as it's so nice. It's not a heavy scent so thats always great. I'm not going to say much more though as i've spoke about this so much.
S&G scrub- £7- Boots-

I also use a scrub and i'm currently on this one which again i've mentioned multiple times on my blog. So if you want an in- depth review on it then check out some of my other posts.
S&G face wash- £8- Boots-

Another product i use is again from soap and glory and this is a face wash that i have mentioned many times. I have one already opened and this one ready to use after. It's very cooling and refreshing.
Pantene hair mask- £1- Poundworld-

I use a hair mask all the time and i really like the ones from Poundworld/land. Their cheap and cheerful and you can't go wrong with them. I just use this Pantene one and it smells really nice and my hair feels really nourished after i've used it. I would actually recommend this or any poundland hair mask. They do make a difference so go get yourself a hair mask.
Tresemme shampoo/ conditioner- £2 each- B&M-

I've had these shampoo and conditioner for so long now and i actually got them for the great price of £2 each from B&M so i don't know if their still stocking them but it's worth a look. I don't see a mega difference with these but they do smell good and they last forever.

So thank you for reading this. It was pretty short today but hopefully you don't mind. Please follow me on here and on my twitter. I'm following you guys back if you follow my blog and twitter. So just tweet me saying "followed". Thanks for reading once again. BYEE
